The purpose of this workshop is to foster in-depth, practice-oriented discussions on the core academic competencies that are essential for building a successful and sustainable research career. The workshop focuses on developing a coherent research philosophy, structuring and writing academic papers suitable for publication in reputable journals, delivering effective conference presentations and discussions, conducting engaging research seminars, and performing high-quality peer reviews.

The main topics covered by the hereby call for papers are related (but not limited) to:

  • developing a personal research agenda and philosophy;

  • identifying and refining research questions;

  • structuring academic papers for top-tier journals;

  • understanding the peer-review and publication process;

  • responding to referees;
  • preparing and delivering conference presentations;
  • acting as a conference discussant;
  • designing and presenting academic seminars;
  • writing constructive and rigorous referee reports.

The list is not an exclusive one, the researchers being encouraged to participate with works that are analysing any aspects of crisis in modern economies. Theoretical and empirical studies are welcomed both in this section.
