
Simona Andreea Apostu is Assoc. Prof. PhD at the Department of Statistics and Econometrics, Bucharest University of Economic Studies and a Scientific Researcher at the Institute of National Economy, Romanian Academy. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Social and Economic Statistics (JSES), a member of the scientific committee of the International Conference on Applied Statistics (ICAS), and a coordinating member of Young Statisticians Europe (YSE) – Romanian Group. She is also an Editorial review board for: Journal of Social and Economic Statistics, International Journal of Sustainable Economies Management, International Journal of Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility, Journal of Circular Economy and Waste Management. Her research activity includes reviewing and publishing scientific articles in internationally indexed journals, participation in international conferences and collaboration in research projects. The areas of interest are represented by the statistical and econometric methods applied for assessing problems like: migration, macroeconomics, time series, labor market imbalances, healthcare, circular economy, renewable energy.
